My initial hypothesis stated that the fully grown algae would be to dense to allow enough sunlight into the space of a greenhouse. After looking at the tables below, it can be concluded that the algae does indeed block more light the denser that it is. In order to know for sure if the system would need to be operable has yet to be determined on this collective data, but it can be tested with further research and testing.
The continuation of this project would be to create a new box that housed the algae within its walls while having a plant on the inside. The test would be to see if the plant is able to still sustain life as the algae grows around it blocking out light. The other scopes of work would also like to be addressed in future research, but for now just being able to prove that the algae has a dense material that prevents light penetration is helpful for my current research.

Analysis of the Data Results
In these charts that show the collected results of the tables above averaged out it is a clear difference between the algae dense and the algae free results. There is also thought that the plastic container in the control, although necessary, changes the results as well.
After looking at these there is also a thought that the water, clearer that it is, actually effects the lighting within the box as a reflective material, such as when you spend all day in the water at a pool or beach you are more sunburnt than staying away from the water because of the reflective properties that it has. In further studies this will be a concern as heat may also be effected in this reflection and transfer of energy.
