Insulative Quality of Air
--The Effect of Moving Air on The Natural Convection of Air
Methodology
- Data Need To Be Measured
I--Water temperature as one way of tracking how the currents move around.
II--Visualization of currents movements under different speed of moving water.
2. Means of Measuring
I--Laser cutter was used to cut acrylic board making the box to hold water.
II--Water temperature sensor functioning with Elegoo Uno R3, Bredboard, Arduino to measure the changing water temperature.
III--A Peristaltic Liquid Pump with Silicone Tubing was used to move the water in plexibox.

III--A Peristaltic Liquid Pump with Silicone Tubing was used to move the water in plexibox.
3. Consistent Results
I--Renew the water after every round of experiment with the same water temperature.
II--Keep everything else in the same place in every round of experiment, including the location of ink, the distance from heating source, etc

Plans To Adapt and Repeat
Issues Description:
The heating lamp is not efficient enough to heat the water in a relatively short amount of time(10 minute)
The heating lamp is not efficient enough to heat the water in a relatively short amount of time(10 minute)
Repetition
More rounds of experiment should be conducted with a series of speed of moving water.

Experiment I
Video I
Experiment Observation I
Fill the small pelxiglass box with hot water at 42.4 0/C and keep it still. The ink moves slowly towards hot water, then it starts movement about 4 minutes later.
The temperature goes down from 42.40/C to 40.20/C in 5 minutes.

Experiment Observation II
Fill the small pelxiglass box with hot water at 42.4 0/C and keep it still. The ink moves faster than that in experiment I towards hot water, then it moves very slowly after 4 minutes.
The temperature goes down from 42.40/C to 37.20/C in 5 minutes.
